a quieter frhd.me
2026-07-18
for a while this page was a whole computer. frhd.me booted into an xterm.js
terminal: you typed help, poked around a fake filesystem, played tetris,
edited files in a tiny vim. i loved building it and it was a fun
thing to land on.
but a homepage should say things plainly. if you come here to find out what i work on or read something i wrote, you shouldn't have to guess a command first. so the front of the site is just text now: a short intro, a few projects, whatever i've been writing, and how to reach me.
i didn't delete the terminal. it was too much fun to throw away, and it's still
the truest thing about how i like to work. it just moved. it lives at
/terminal now, or you can press t from anywhere on the site and it'll take
you straight there.
the whole thing is a static next.js export: no server, no database, nothing to keep running. plain files, quietly.
